About Rightward

Rightward Financial Inc., operating as Rightward, provides mobile bill review, market-rate comparison, and bill negotiation support services. Rightward is not a mobile carrier, bank, lender, or investment advisor, and is not affiliated with any carrier unless expressly stated.

1

Our service

Rightward helps customers review mobile phone bills, compare current plans against available market options, and, where requested, negotiate with mobile carriers to try to reduce monthly costs.

Our service is intended for individual consumer mobile accounts, not business, enterprise, corporate, or fleet telecom accounts, unless we agree otherwise.

Rightward is not a mobile carrier, telecom provider, bank, lender, investment advisor, insurance provider, credit counsellor, debt settlement provider, or financial advisor.

Rightward is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any mobile carrier unless expressly stated.

2

Eligibility

You may use our service only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and are authorized to discuss or make decisions about the mobile account you submit for review.

By using our service, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete;
  • you are the account holder or have authority from the account holder; and
  • you have the right to provide any bill, screenshot, account information, or related details you submit to us.
3

Bill review and comparison

Rightward may review the information you provide and compare it against available market plans, offers, pricing, and other relevant data.

Savings estimates are based on available information and market conditions at the time of review. They are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Carrier pricing, promotions, eligibility rules, coverage, discounts, device balances, contract terms, and other conditions may change at any time.

4

Negotiation support

If you request negotiation support, you authorize Rightward to use the information you provide to contact your mobile carrier or its retention department on your behalf.

Before each negotiation, Rightward records a per-customer authorization on file. At the time you book the service on our website, you will see and accept an authorization statement identifying the specific carrier you are authorizing us to contact. Rightward keeps the exact wording, the carrier name, and the date and time of your consent. This authorization is in addition to the general consent reflected in these Terms.

Rightward may discuss your current plan, pricing, available offers, and potential savings options with the carrier. When speaking with the carrier on your behalf, Rightward typically discloses your name as the account holder, the account number printed on your bill, and your current plan details.

Rightward will not accept a new plan, renew a contract, cancel a service, port a number, add services, remove services, or make material account changes without your authorization.

You remain responsible for reviewing and accepting any carrier offer, including the final price, plan features, discounts, term, device balance, or other conditions.

Negotiation timelines depend on carrier response times, customer availability, and account verification requirements. Rightward does not guarantee completion within a specific timeframe unless expressly stated.

5

Fees, taxes, and payment

Rightward may charge a one-time fee for bill negotiation support. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the fee is CAD $49 plus applicable GST/HST.

Rightward may collect the service fee before negotiation begins. If Rightward is unable to identify or obtain a lower-cost option for your mobile service, Rightward will refund the service fee and applicable taxes charged by Rightward.

The payment terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe. Rightward does not store your full credit card number or full payment credentials.

6

Successful reduction and refunds

A “successful reduction” means Rightward identifies or negotiates a lower monthly mobile plan, discount, bill credit, retention offer, or other lower-cost option that is reasonably available to you based on the information provided, whether or not you choose to accept the offer.

If Rightward charges a fee before negotiation begins and is unable to identify or obtain a successful reduction, you may be eligible for a refund of the service fee and applicable taxes charged by Rightward.

Refunds apply only to the Rightward service fee and applicable taxes charged by Rightward. Rightward is not responsible for refunding any amounts charged by your mobile carrier.

A refund may not be available if:

  • you provided inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • you were not authorized to act on the mobile account;
  • you decline, ignore, or fail to respond to a valid lower-cost offer or savings opportunity;
  • the carrier later changes, withdraws, or refuses an offer for reasons outside Rightward's control;
  • you fail to provide information reasonably needed to complete the service;
  • account verification cannot be completed due to carrier rules or customer inaction; or
  • Rightward identifies or obtains a successful reduction.

To request a refund review, contact us at support@rightward.ca using the email address associated with your payment.

7

No guarantee

Rightward does not guarantee that we will lower your bill, obtain a specific discount, secure a specific plan, or achieve a particular savings amount.

Any examples of potential savings are illustrative only. Actual savings depend on your carrier, current plan, usage, location, eligibility, account history, promotions, credit checks where applicable, and carrier policies.

8

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and complete information;
  • reviewing any proposed carrier offer before accepting it;
  • confirming that any new plan meets your needs;
  • understanding any contract term, device balance, discount expiry, plan limitation, or coverage limitation;
  • paying your mobile carrier bills; and
  • complying with your carrier's terms and conditions.
9

Third-party services and carrier terms

Your mobile service is provided by your carrier, not Rightward.

Any carrier offer, plan, discount, contract, service change, activation, cancellation, device balance, or billing adjustment is subject to the carrier's own terms, policies, and approval.

Rightward is not responsible for carrier errors, coverage issues, service interruptions, billing delays, rejected offers, credit decisions, account verification issues, or changes made by the carrier.

10

Website use

You agree not to misuse our website or services, including by:

  • submitting false, misleading, or unauthorized information;
  • uploading malicious files or harmful content;
  • attempting to access systems or data without authorization;
  • interfering with the operation or security of the website; or
  • using the service for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or refuse service if we believe these Terms have been violated or if providing the service would create legal, security, operational, or fraud-related risk.

11

Privacy and communications

Our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

If you give us express consent (for example, by ticking the consent checkbox on our email-capture form), we may send you check-in emails about your bill audit. Every commercial email we send identifies Rightward Financial Inc., includes a working unsubscribe link, and remains compliant with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time. Transactional messages tied to a specific request you made (for example, a one-time savings report you asked us to send, or a confirmation of a concierge booking) are not affected by unsubscribing from check-ins.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that personal information may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rightward will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost savings, lost discounts, lost opportunities, service interruptions, carrier billing issues, or loss of data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rightward's total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid to Rightward for the service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rightward Financial Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of the website or services;
  • inaccurate, incomplete, or unauthorized information you provide;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your violation of law or third-party rights; or
  • disputes between you and your mobile carrier, except to the extent caused by Rightward's own unlawful conduct.
14

Changes to the service or Terms

We may update our website, services, pricing, policies, or these Terms from time to time.

The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website or services after updates are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

15

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, unless the laws of another province are required to apply.

Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Ontario, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
