Common questions
The two questions every smart customer asks
How does Rightward make money?
Bill analysis is free and always will be — that is a design principle, not a launch promotion. Revenue comes from two places: the optional concierge service ($49 plus applicable taxes, refunded in full if we find no savings on your bill), and affiliate referrals when a customer chooses to switch to a recommended carrier we have a partnership with. Watching your bill is free, too. Most customers never pay us anything.
Are your recommendations sponsored?
No. Recommendations come out of the engine's comparison of your bill against every active Canadian wireless and internet plan we track — Big 3, flanker brands, regional carriers, MVNOs — before any affiliate signal is applied. A non-paying carrier and a paying carrier are ranked identically. If the cheapest match for your specific bill comes from a carrier we have no commercial relationship with, that is the carrier we recommend.
